Also, out of pure morbid curiosity, did any of the local town meeting racists actually give any concrete examples of Haitians abducting and killing pets that they personally witnessed, or (as I suspect from my brief skimming) were they just giving a laundry list of complaints likely lifted straight from Facebook rather than actual personal experience?

There were no examples from anyone who witnessed anything first hand. The guy who claimed at the meeting that Haitians killed a duck at the park is a social media influencer who got the info from a Facebook message where someone claimed their co-worker's brother-in-law saw a Haitian chop a goose's head off.

Honestly, the only people I’ve seen so far claiming that they’ve personally actually seen such are a handful of random social media anons who seem reluctant to go public with or share any details/proof that could verify their claims.

I notice your fact checking only leans left like the moderators in that debate. Make sure you are fair & balanced if you want to keep a wide range of readers. Harris has done some major lying. BY the way, even the political cartoon in the paper Tuesday was misleading.

I promise if anyone on the left drops doozies like this, I'll be the first person to call it out.

But I do need to add that moderators only fact checking one side doesn't mean that the other side was getting away with lying. It seemed they were focusing on the extreme lies (like this pet thing and Trump's ridiculous claim that they allow post-birth abortions).

You can still be fair and balanced, but if there are asymmetrical lies taking place, there is going to be asymmetrical fact-checking too.
